We bought this microwave at the Jantzen Beach Best Buy in Portland Oregon when the Home Depot across the parking lot refused to remove their shipping fee of $59 just to have it driven to their store from their warehouse. And it was $30 cheaper than HD. An $89 savings just for driving across the parking lot. And they had it in stock and loaded it into my car. As far as the microwave, we purchased it for my mother whose GE went out after 20+ years. It was fairly easy to install, much easier than I thought. The only thing is the printing of the various functions on the touch panel isn't very high contrast making it a little difficult for her to read. Otherwise, a very nice product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How would you clean oven part of this microwave? Is the oven draw removeable? Can you set the timer for the oven or just the microwave?

This microwave has a "bake oven" interior, making it easy to clean. The grease filter is easily removed from the front and can be put in the dishwasher.

How does the outside look? Back sides or stainless steel? Thank you?
Black sides (which doesn't matter because they are hidden by the cabinet) and stainless front. Nice looking.

From what side does the oven vent?

It vents put the top.

3 prong plug.

Does it mount to upper cabinet or side cabinets? I may have to remove upper cabinet

It mounts to the back wall and to the upper cabinet. That is pretty standard for most "over the stove" microwaves. You pretty much have to have an upper cabinet to install.

Can this vent upwards thru the top cabinet?

Yes. There is a standard vent fitting included.

Inside light seems dim

When opening door, the light inside is barely noticeable...cannot tell if food is done:(
Is this normal?
I think the light has multiple intensity settings.

What are the dimensions from the upper cabinet mounting holes on the micro to the back of the microwave?

Model ME18H704SFS - A copy of the template that comes in the box would be great?
There was a template included for the wall mount and for the upper cabinet holes. No problem.

getting a kit for microwave venting outside

Is there a kit to hook up to vent microwave model # ME18H704SFS to the outside?
There is a rectangular fitting that snaps onto the top of the microwave that conforms to a standard vent, although it was in a different location than the previous microwave. I just had to re-saw the hole in the shelf above the microwave to match up with its location on the microwave. Be sure to install the fitting on the microwave before you lift it into place, otherwise you'll end up taking it down to install it.
