I have 5 TVs in my livingroom and I have a sony wirless head set for each TV. This is the newer model for me and has an excellent clarity for hearing spoken words and music is outstanding. As an older and hard of hearing person, this is a great asset to listing to TV without blasting my wife out of the room!

Do the headphones work with all televisions?
with most newer TV sets, they have Audio Out and therfore Sony wirless head set will work.

Can other sounds be heard?
While wearing the headphones, can one hear other sounds such as someone calling their name, the doorbell ringing, an emergency alert, the telephone?
As the head sets fit completely over your ears to hear more completely the sounds fro your box or TV, the outside sources of calls , phones,ect , are limited.

Wireless head set
Got a new cable box and now they do not work
if your cable box has Audio Out use the plugs that came with your sony wirless head set, if not just plug the plugs into the TV directly Audio Out.

We have a LG Smart TV
no, you just need an Audio Out on your TV set.
