Experience the nostalgic sound of vinyl with this fully automatic belt-driven turntable that supports 33-1/3 and 45 rpm record playback speeds and features a USB output for importing your favorite records' tracks to a PC.
What's great about it: Easy setup, great sound, compatible to receiver or computer
What's not so great: Learning to use the software so Windows Media Player recognizes the recordings.
I was concerned about the sound quality on such an inexpensive turntable. Sound is excellent, tracks well, easy to use and very compatible with both computers and older stereo systems. Great for converting LP's to mp3 recordings. Delivery was quick and in excellent condition. Software: Auto feature for albums does not work well but is relatively easy to edit manually. Some difficulty getting Windows Media Player to recognize the recordings in the library.

Having trouble hooking up to speakers
We have hooked the turntable up to Bose Companion 2 speakers and am not getting sound. There is a faint sound coming from the player but nothing from the speaker. Everything seems to be in the right location.
The turntable only has a line-level output. It is not amplified. You will either need to connect the usb output to you computer or connect the audio cables to an amplifier/receiver that then transfers the sound to your speakers.

does this item, or any other, come with a spindle that can accomodate multiple records?
It has the adapter for 45's but it does not have the spindle for loading multiple albums like the stereos of the 70's and 80's had. I am not aware of any new turntables or stereos that have that feature.
