This is the 2nd Sony blue ray player I bought the 3500 and then I bought this one (S3700).there both excellent players,after setting them up I can stream from my Netgear wireless router,get all of the available channels and play my recorded and purchased DVD'S.Picture is 1080P,these players are upconverting.there's only 1 problem I haven't tacked yet.the remotes for the players turn both on.That's a set up problem which I can hopefuly solve.I also have a Panasonic player and a roku 3 and roku 4.I believe I purchased all of these from Best Buy,my #1` electronic storeAll 3 blue ray players will also play any content on my 3 external hard drives.Planning on getting 1 more.

To what micron level does this filter? What is the best way to wash it? How many times can it be washed before it should be replaced?
Not sure about the Micron level but I've washed my filters a minimum of 6 times.still intact and useableWhen the fall apart I'll replkace them.I waswh the filter material in my kitchen sing with a small amount of dish detergent and then a good warm water rise.Make sure there dry before you reinstall them.

How do I go online with my BDP-S3700 DVR? For example I want to look up Rainierland and use it how would I do that? suggestions will be great :)
you can access online content with a wireless router or by using an eternet cable plugeed into your router or modem.

Does this player play audio DVD-R+?
Yes it does,I always record in MP4 or WMV format with an upgraded Cyber link 10 purchased burner.For dvds playing in my Panasonic-S700 I record the DVD'S using Real Times.thay have an upscaling picture,video and movie program which also puts out a 1080P .

Does this work for Mac and Windows at the same time?
I need an external drive por editing class, and they have Mac computers, so I will have to work in Mac in class and at home I have Windows to continue editing...
works with windows but I have no knowledge of,about Mac?

After buying this Sharp 50' tv I was told that any programs that are not HD will not fill the screen.
Example is I watch Gunsmoke & it fills screen vertical but not horiz. Have seen others fill screen horiz but not vert. Any one have an answer?
Incorrect.View Mode>Normal,Zoom,Wide,Cinema,Normal for hi definition and try the zoom or wide.Sounds to me like you have the TV in the Cinema mode??????I have four antenna channels which you have to stretch or zoom to get a full screen view fully horizontal.

Whats a good gaming/movie graphic setting I only had it for 1 day and already regret buying it I try to adjust the levels but it's just pixelated or blurry can someone help
I'm currently using the (natural) mode for every thing.there are some advanced adjustments you can make .click on the menu button and go to>advanced settings.I made some adjustments and I really like my picture now.(beauty is in the eye of the beholder)To me it's worth the time to exsperiment and find the quality you like.All the other advanced settings are factory default on mine.I do like this TV.
