Excellent printer: small & compact, attractive, prints well, takes the same ink cartridges as my HP ENVY printer which is convenient. It's a plug-N-play unit with Windows 10: connect it up and the driver & software automatically load. It comes with a CD so you can do this manually if you so desire. HP Smart is an app that installs automatically and allows you to monitor ink levels, make adjustments, change printing preferences, and perform maintenance on the printer. HP Smart automatically incorporated this printer in the app along with my HP ENVY printer. Neat! Surprisingly, this printer comes with no USB cable! ?????

Work through the day with this Dell laptop. It includes an Intel Core i7 processor and 12GB of RAM so that tasks are accomplished quickly and easily, and a 2TB hard drive lets you store all your data even when you have no Internet connection. A powerful 42Wh battery keeps this Dell laptop working throughout the day.
Love it, even though initial reliability was low.

I have mixed feelings about this laptop. I love the slimness, color, and the screen is just breathtakingly beautiful. I like the 12 GB RAM and 2 TB hard drive and think this will be enough for a long time. My last laptop was a Sony VAIO and its keyboard seemed a bit easier to use: the Dell keys are smaller and the forward edge of the laptop is...well....crisp. Not exactly sharp, but not as rounded and as comfortable as the VAIO. After a full day setting it up with updates, external hard drive, printers, etc.......it crashed! Major fault somewhere, but it guided me through a complete reformat putting it back to factory settings. Yes, all my files and data were erased. It made certain I knew this before formatting, so I expected it. Had to start over again, but it has been good so far. I have a maintenance program, System Mechanic Professional (highly rated by PC magazine) which cleans things up, but rates the reliability of the laptop as low because of the crash. Not certain if this is Dell's fault or Windows 10 - which takes a lot of getting used to. Buying a Windows 10 User Manual is recommended. Overall, I'd buy this device again.

The display is just awesome.....you feel you're in a home entertainment center with SenSurround due to the stereo speakers. Great packaging, easy set-up. I'd buy one again.

What's great about it: Length allows laptop to be away from flatscreen TV, great photo transmission.
What's not so great: It's a bit spendy: you have to really want the length.
This 12-foot HDMI cable allows the connection of your laptop to your flatscreen TV from a distance - which is nice if you want to sit down in a chair - while you show your family your latest photos from your last trip. The quality of jpeg transmission through the cable is excellent despite it's length and this cable is recommended. A bit expensive, though.

how does hp printer, deskjet # 1112 let you know its running low on ink my canon printer would show it on my computer screen does the hp 1112 do the same?
The HP Deskjet 1112 comes with an installation CD, or you can plug-N-play the printer into your Windows 10 computer which should install the software and drivers automatically without using the CD. One of the pieces of software is HP SMART, an app which allows you to provide maintenance, set up, and program the printer, and it also shows ink levels. I already had an hp ENVY 4512 with HP SMART, and both printers show up on this app. Very cool.

Does this printer need a USB cable? and I am a student so I would only need it for some papers, worksheets, and other random things needing printed would this printer work for me?
This printer DOES NOT come with a USB cable, nor is it wireless. Go figure. You either have to buy a USB cable or, as I did, use the USB cable from my old HP Deskjet printer which is not compatible with Windows 10. Having said that, the Deskjet 1112 is a dandy little printer and I like it.

Is this what I need to connect my computer to the TV?
I have a Macbook Air.
I don't think so: my daughter's Macbook Air does not have an HDMI socket, necessary since this cable has two standard HDMI plugs, one on either end.
