I gave this 2 stars, not because of the quality of the product, but because of the clearly mislabeled product that lead us to believe it was something it wasn't, more on that in a second.
The Steelbook and movies are great quality, and look fantastic. The movies all work perfectly in several Blu-Ray players. My only gripe here is there are 2 spindles of 3 discs each, making it difficult to get at a specific disc without prying and getting fingerprints all over the discs. Annoying but not a huge deal...
Then there are the DVD's... or rather a lack of them. The package is clearly labeled as "BLU-RAY+DVD+DIGITAL" and sealed in plastic, but upon opening the package there are no DVD discs, and no place for them to be inside case either.
We bought this with the assumption that the packaging was correct, containing Blu-Rays, DVDs, and Digital codes, and it felt like we were pretty much cheated. Although I wanted the Steelbook, I don't think I would have paid $45 for just the Blu-Rays in it, because we use DVDs too much when traveling or on the go. I can't prove it as I didn't take screenshots (why would I), but I am pretty sure the website showed it as "BLU-RAY+DVD+DIGITAL" until either sometime yesterday or day, because I know it said that when we looked at it a few days ago.
Customer service was not very friendly at first, I called in and complained and was told to return them to store to get the "right product" but it took about 10 minutes of near arguing for the CSR to understand that there is no correct product, it is just mislabeled and false advertising. After about 15 minutes on the phone I was finally offered a $25 Best Buy Gift Card by mail for my troubles and accepted that.
Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes, but only if they clearly understand that this is a Blu-Ray and Digital product ONLY, and there are no DVDs, otherwise I would not recommend it (obviously).

Nice looking case, and it holds lots of Amiibos... My only issue is some do not fit well, like Meta Knight who's sword constantly gets bent. The quality is decent but I am wary that it might not last very long.

One of the best looking Amiibos available, if you can get it... Amiibo, the new Pokemon, gotta catch em all. It's unfortunate how rare he has become since it is so good int he game as well.

Installed flawlessly in my HP Elitebook 8560p after the original hard drive died... Extremely fast and no issues at all, just popped in the Windows restore disk and within a few minutes was back up and running. The boot times under Win 7 on this drive are amazing, under 15 seconds to the login prompts from a cold start. Very happy with this purchase.

How big is the case? Can it fit taller amiibo?

I can't tell what the dimensions are. Also do you store them standing up or laying down? Could it fit Captain Falcon or Link?
All Amiibos except Meta Knight fit well... MK's sword gets bent slightly due to the odd "roundish" design of the character. I store mine laying down.

Work with a Macbook?
Yes, Mac Books have used SATA drives since 2006, this should work fine.

Looking for a 2TB plus hard drive with these specs

2.5 inch internal type (9.5mm or slimmer)
Serial ATA (Parallel ATA is not supported)
SSD drives are not available in a consumer product of that size at this time. 1 TB drives are available but cost approximately $500, to jump up to the 2TB to 4TB range, you are taking 10-40 times that price for drives of that size. You are better off to get a smaller SSD and then a second standard drive for storage.

How do I find out if my hard drive needs replacement and if it does, how do I check which one is the right one?

I have a HP Pavilion tx2500 and I have dropped it long time ago. To save money, I have decided to fix it if it doesn't cost too much. It makes some scratching metal sound and it does not load windows. It gives me an error. Some say that it might be the hard drive and if it is, how do I check if the hard drive is the problem. And if that is the case, what do I need to look for a replacement? Is it possible to put SSD on my laptop?
If it is making these kinds of sounds, it is most likely the hard drive. This drive will work in this laptop as it has a SATA 2 interface and this drive is backwards compatible with that standard.

how fast does 20 or 40 photo's download

can anyone tell me how long does a bunch of photo's lets say 40. take to download from your computer to the external hard drive. just a estimation is fine

This drive shouldn't affect that time much, the slow part will be the USB interface... Depending on the size of your photos, this operation should only take 10-15 seconds.

Will this drive work in a Samsung Model NP880Z5E ?

Yes, it has a SATA 2 controller and this drive is backwards compatible with that standard.
