Bought this for my first PC build! Functions properly and is at appropriate speeds. I would recommend this HDD as BestBuy also price matches. I will be buying a larger HDD as I need all the space I can get.

is this drive good for gaming

I do a lot of gaming , is this a good drive to install ?
I bought this as a starter drive for my first PC build. My initial purpose was to game. To answer your question? Yes! If it's within your budget? I would also purchase an SSD along with the HDD. As installing the game on an SSD is said to run smoother and faster. I did not buy an SSD and bought the Seagate 3TB HDD and use it to game and video edit. I find it great!

can I replace a 1tb hd. with this 3th hd

I want to know if I can replace a 1tb hard drive with this 3tb hard drive.
I don't see why not! If it's within the PC all that needs to be done is to open up your case and; using the SATA cable that comes with it; plug it into your motherboards SATA port and everything should function accordingly.
