This may or may not to the trick. In my case, it took 24 hours to get the air temp will get down 33. The compressor seems to turn on at 41 and off at 33 or end of the timer. It may not cool all the way down to 33 in one cycle. Meat should hold lower temp. Of course not opening the door will help.
Freezer is cold. I don't have a temp for you but it will freeze ice cream, ice, and ground meat rock hard in a couple hours.
As far as I know the auto defrost can not be turned off. Also for any fridge placement and enverment is key.
