If you are limited on space but still want a decent sized screen for movies this tv well fit the bill nicely. The 1080p resolution is clear and sharp plus there are configurable settings also. The sound is decent but I would suggest a soundbar and you'd have a perfect bedroom or man cave system!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Older surround system friendly?

Hello, my older surround system I have currently hooks up to my TV via the red and white jacks. I choose the external sound source on my old TV and boom, there's sound. I was wondering if the Insignia TV has the same ability - that is, to hook up my older surround system to Insignia TV using red/white jacks and have the sound come out on surround system rather than TV speakers. Thanks all for reading this question!
The tv has Digital Audio/SPDIF for digital audio and it has 3.5mm Analog audio jack connections only.

Yes there are pre drilled holes on the back that you can mount a wall brandy to.
