This USB enclosure allows you to insert any standard size for desktop PC) SATA internal hard drive and connect it to your PC. GB to GB, the internal drive is much cheaper. For example, a 2 TB internal drive costs around $100, while a 2 TB external typically cost about $150.00. I just put different internal drives in the enclosure to back up my different computers. And the PC internal disk drive is much more robust than the hard drives found inside a typical external drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This has just the right amount of comedy that most spy-genre movies lack. I heard that they are making sequel based on US agents.

Works as advertised for both CD and DVD media. Haven't tried it with Blu-Ray media as yet.

Will this work on a 5 yr old iMac running Yosemite?

I have an older iMac from circa 2009 running the latest version of Yosemite. Will this work? My concern is the USB port. I'm not sure it's USB 3.0.
USB is backwards compatible. Will work with any previous version, will just take longer.

When I back up each time, does it back up everything or just what has been added science last back up

I don't bother with backing up individual files. I use an app called Acronis and make an image of the entire disk drive. If I have a disk drive failure in my desktop or one of my laptops, I can image it back onto a new disk and be back on the air in very little time.

does this item include software to play bluray movies

No it doesn't, but I have an app that will.
