Including chromecast,what would i need to pu local tv live at a summer home

Well, chromecast just relays signals from a source. You'd need wifi to get the chromecast to work at all, but you'd also need a cell phone, laptop, tablet, or other device which allows you to stream a signal, and then through chrome you can project the signal onto a tv. Consider it more of a wireless connection between your device and your tv, through wifi.
