I have been using other big name virus protection, but found they consume a lot of memory running in the background and installation is slow and complicated. So far Kaspersky has given me excellent protection without issues. Quick install.

Yes. Use a mini-SD card (what's in your S7) and an SD card adapter that will fit in your PC. You will have to transfer the photos in your phone to the mini-SD card.
It is a good idea to save your photos to the phone's SD card so you can move them easily. You can also move photos from your PC to your phone the same way.

Will this work with a Nikon d300?

No. The D300 uses a Compact Flash (CF) memory card.
