I brought this home, we set it up, and I was able to watch Amazon shows right away. It was really easy to set up, and there was an online guide to get the network and the Amazon account working. It has a nice clear picture, and though the salesman warned me that the sound wasn't the greatest on this particular TV, we have no issue with it. We don't have a large room and it's just the right size, and the sound is just fine. A friend of ours recommended this brand of TV to us, and we are very happy with it. The Amazon capability was one of the reasons I got this TV, it also has several other apps, for which I have no opinion as we haven't used them yet, such as Netflix and Hulu Plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Connected via wifi but Amazon app, and any others, will not communicate?

Just has TV mounted on wall today – cable company will be here in two days. I was thinking that, as I've a strong wifi connection to TV from router, that I could connect to my Amazon Prime account (as well as others) and watch at least something, but I simply get a "no connection" display on screen. My router's not too far away from the TV, but I have no idea why I can't get the apps to work. Any suggestions? Thanks. Clint
We had this problem once too. Have you got a password on your router? We don't and when I had called Tech Support, they said that would help. But when I had talked to them, they told me to unplug the TV, and hold the power button down (it's in back of the TV on the left side) to recycle the TV. They are very good about helping you get something like this fixed. It's probably something simple.
