I'm not a professional artist (or even a very good one) but I had some extra cash and picked up this tablet for hobbyist purposes. I was tempted to get one of the cheaper tablets like the bamboo or whatever Wacom is calling it now, but I felt that as I improved I would find myself wanting higher quality. It was a great choice because I'm already thrilled with this product. When registered it came with some great software, including a 30-day trial of Corel Painter 2015 which I LOVED. All in all I'd say if you're itching to try out digital art this is your tablet, but your mileage may vary if it's only a slight curiosity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can the Intuos connect to the Internet?

Via wi-fi for example? Also I was wondering if you can download online programs/software to use in the Intuos such as Manga Studio. I know there is the Intuos Manga, but I like the bigger screen sizes from the Intuos Pro line.
The Intuos tablet itself doesn't have a graphical display and doesn't hold programs or connect to wi-fi the way I think you're asking. The drawing surface is just a touch sensitive black area, and it connects via USB to let you draw within digital art programs such as Corel Painter or Photoshop. It does, however, come with registration keys for some free software downloads (Painter being one of them), which I believe are all available for Windows or Mac. As far as a tablet with a display screen goes all I know of is the considerably expensive Wacom Cintiq.
