Nice fridge, just turn off the ice maker.

While shopping for a fridge, i noticed there were a lot of deals on Samsung and LG french doors but almost all of them have their consistent complaints about noise and how much of a hassle they are for repairmen to fix. So i came across this whirlpool which didn't seem to have much functional complaints at all. The only negative thing seems to be the ice maker, i haven't hooked it up but if you left it on then it makes loud noises (must be trying to pump water?). Anyway i never planned on using the ice maker so this fridge really does what i want and remains quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

is it noise free

How about the noise. Is it noise free
This fridge it quiet except the ice maker makes an occasional buzz noise when trying to operate so you should really just avoid using it (leaving it off is ideal if you want a quiet fridge).

My fridge intermittently makes a buzzing noise for a few seconds. Is this normal?

Turn off the ice maker, i turned it off and i don't hear this noise anymore.

are the sides of the refrigerator stainless steel as well.

No the sides are not steel, they are grey and "coarse" textured.
