What's great about it: Full keyboard/fit/size/price
What's not so great: Does not open to all angles
Bought this for work and for home. Wanted a slimmer case and a keyboard. This case fits closely to the iPad mini. Doesn't add much to size. The added weight is expected for the battery and keyboard. The lighted keyboard function is great. Battery life has been as advertised. Overall functionality, size and price:good purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do you need to charge your keyboard case?

Yes. Have not charged it since I bought it. They say about 3 months to a charge.
