Wife did not like the "stylish" keyboard that came with my latest desk top, so we went looking for a new wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo. Checked a few different stores, but found the best selection and prices at Best Buy. This was the one that most met my wife's requirements and the price was reasonable. The keyboard/mouse connected great and work seamlessly with my desktop.

Overall, I would have given this a 5 out of 5 except for one significant limitation I did not find out about until after we purchased. Love the ease of use, the slim configuration and portability. battery life s good and the pen and keyboard work as advertised. However, when we bought this particular level of Surface Pro we did so based on the processor (mid level) and the graphics (independent graphics card) only to find out that the independent graphics card does not support the play back of Blu Ray quality movies, i.e. the external Blu Ray disc drive a bought for my daughter for Christmas would not work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this adjust the sound on my windows 8.1?
Yes, i am using it on Windows 8.1 and it does control the volume.
