Bought this headset to replace my turtle beach x 41's for xbox 360 which I had been using on the xbox one (with out chat of course) but found that they just didn't sound as good to me as the x 41's. And I didn't like the cord running from my headset to controller, or the fact they ran off the batteries in my controller. I ended up returning them and getting the turtle beach ear force stealth 500x headset instead and am much happier with the 500x it sounds better, has more functions and most of all COMPLETELY WIRELESS!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

are these the pro or the older version

NO these are the original version they produced the pro version has a different audio controller and a "super human hearing mode" and will specify in the description,
