i purchases one previously and bought this one as a gift for my wife. She hardly uses a computer now and this makes searching and corresponding on her iPad easier. Additionally the magnets are strong and hold the iPad in a good position for viewing videos and web sites even if you do not need the keyboard.

I use it with my iPhone instead of paying for a cable box. It plays Netflix and Hulu plus without issue. I have not found a way to stream iTunes.

i purchased this as a gift for my son. It has an autonomous mode where it kind of does its own thing. And a remote control mode where you can drive it around. There are sensors for hand controls but my son had trouble getting proper responses. It is fun to play with and the technology that comes together is impressive. The battery seemed to last about 30 minutes to an hour between recharges. It seems that adults appreciate the behaviors more than children.

charging both keyboard and I pad

Is it necessary to charge both the keyboard and the I pad or when charging the keyboard will it also charge the Ipad.

Best Answer

The keyboard and iPad both need to be charged. The keyboard lasts for weeks or months while the iPad needs to be charged every couple days in my experience. They each have their own battery so each one needs to be charged. There is no power shared between the two devices.
