Tried to go cheaper and more convenient then ended up regretting it. The third party cables only lasted a while then I was getting errors or they would just stop working. From now on I will go out of my way to get the Apple brand cables.

What's great about it: Reliability
Pay the extra to get the screen protector installed professionally. Do not get impatient with the unavoidable air bubbles. I have tried installing them myself and used the service twice. I highly recommend letting them do it for you. The air bubbles are natural and disappear in 24 hours. Be patient and let the device sit until they are gone and you will end up with a great product.

What's great about it: Portability
What's not so great: Expensive accessories
I am very happy with my new iPad Air. I travel a lot for work and don't have room to carry a second laptop. My previous iPad 2 and the new air are perfect travel partners. I am in the market for a keyboard portfolio but I tend to wait until accessories are available at discounted prices. These have not shown up in the discount stores and I want to protect my iPad better so I think I will have to break down and buy one full price. That being the only negative I can think of makes this iPad Air a great purchase that I highly recommend. I love to use the camera for pics out the airplane window.

BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD INSTALLING SCREEN PROTECTORS
IF I PURCHASE A SCREEN PROTECTOR FROM BEST BUY AND PAY TO HAVE THE BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD INSTALL IT, AM I GUARANTEED TO NOT TO HAVE BUBBLES ON IT WHEN IT IS RETURNED TO ME?
Expect air bubbles and expect to not use the device for 24 hours. The bubbles will disappear and you end up with a great product. I have installed the screen protector myself. It is much easier and better when done by the Geek Squad.
