As of this writing, we have had it for about a month. It took a little getting used to the way it swivels, but it is a pleasure to use. It seems well built and certainly does a fine job of sucking up pet hair. We have 2 dogs and a cat. Works pretty good on cockatiel feathers, too. The Febreeze air filter is a nice touch and leaves a fresh clean scent after vacuuming.

This is a basic DTV convertor box. It has RCA outputs for connecting to analog devices. A remote control is required for ALL operations, so don't lose the remote.

the referance set up guide was missing from the box any ideas please on set up

Connect an antenna to the antenna in. Connect one of the outputs to the TV. With batteries in the remote, press menu and select the function you need. Find add channels/scan/auto and do a scan.

My RCA analog tv at times freezes picture. Have the Insignia converter box NS-DXA1 attached. Do I need new converter box or indoor antenna?

My 2 tv's are RCA used with the Insignia converter box NS-DXA1. Living room tv freezes picture or picture is fuzzy. Bedroom tv with Insignia converter box works fine. Both are attached to the roof antenna. I was told that I either need an indoor antenna for the living room tv, or a new Insignia converter box as it was purchased a while ago when they converted signal from analog to digital. Should I buy a new converter box or an indoor antenna for the living room tv?

You might want to check the connections to the living room TV and replace the splitter first. A cable with bad connectors can cause freezing and pixilation.

Is this a stand alone unit or do I need a seperate Antenna amplifer unit as well?

If the signal level is high enough from the antenna, it will work by itself. You do need an antenna.

my converter box changes audio from english, to spanish and mute.

i have the NSDXA2 converter. i live in Utah and recently the audio has been working incorrectly. It constantly is changing from from one show to next from english to spanish to mute while on the same channel. I tried a different tv and its the same.

Check the menu to be sure the audio is not set to SAP channel. This is the Secondary Audio Channel and some stations put Spanish dialogue on it for some shows, but leave it silent on others. Other stations will put the English dialogue on it as well as the main channel.
