How to hook up to dvr and Flat screen TV

I have an Insignia flat screen 1080 HD TV as well as an AT&T U verse DVR. How do I hook up the Toshiba VCR/DVD to these products?
I also have a HD TV and a DVR. The unit connects to the TV, very simple. Not sure if it can be connected to the DVR. I didn't have any reason to do so, as this unit is a Player and I watch pre-recorded DVDs and VCRs on it. If I record something on my DVR, I use the DVR unit to watch.

Hook up on new HDTV

Does the component connections allow video from both the DVD and VCR or is it just for the DVD
My TC is HD, and both features work well.

Is there an adapter cord to connect the coaxle of the new DVD/VCR player to an analog TV?

Yes, everything you need is included.
