Its a fine phone for your land line. Its really a little too technical for just wanting a land line phone. It has a built in answering machine so your voice mail doesn't work, or at least I haven't figured it out yet. Its good for the $$$

HELP! I need a new home phone and cannot find what I want exactly.
I want a home phone w/answering machine and no more that 2 additional handsets, Of course caller ID, etc is required. However my ONLY fast and hard requirements are; I MUST be able to 100% mute the ringer volume since I sleep odd hours most of the time. I'm not particular about the brand of phone except VTech is OFF the table and not subject to negotiation. Been there, done that, It didn;t end well, My Budget is $60 to $100, and I need this phone ASAP. Can someone please get back to me so that I may get this purchased and in transit.

don't get this phone. its difficult to navigate the features and ringers. Not worth the hassle.
