Samsung has truly taken the lead in the small LED TV market place. Great picture, runs the cable box from its remote, good sound quality. Very pleased with our burchase.

Does this TV have the Timewarner app installed?

Not at time of purchase but can be loaded online (smart TV capable). FYI, it does capture TV listings and times if attached to cable.

good choice to make signal stronger downstairs when router is upstairs?

My router is upstairs in the opposite corner where I want to increase signal. When I use the laptop in the living room, the signal is between 2-4 bars. Ideally, I'd also like to have a stronger signal for Wii so I can use Netflix, etc. on my TV in that room.
If this isn't the best choice, can you recommend?
If you can't (or don't wan to) run wires to other locations these devices are an excellent option. Out situation was exactly the same as yours. We now have strong WIFI throughout the house.
