I have both these and the beats headphones. The beats sound better, but for the money, these are great. I actually prefer the in ear without having to have something over the ear. They sound decent, and hold up during workouts.

I have charter tv service and hated the interface so was looking for an alternative. TiVo was the only choice, this makes even Charter's terrible TV service bearable. The device itself is quick and works well. I wish the TiVo service itself was less expensive but so far I am impressed.

The only issue with this device is the apps and lack of working support information. Netflix needs to be deleted and installed again at least once a month. No HBOGO and no Vudu apps yet either which is a bummer. But it is really fast and overall a good device that will be great someday

Can you run more then one tv with this dvr. I already have cable in the other room, can I connect to this box too?
Yes you can, but you will need more TiVo boxes. They have other TiVo receivers that are meant to do this.

What is the subscription fee for?
They charge a fee to use the device that you bought? What services does the fee cover? Anything?
The service feel just covers the use if their servers for your TV service and the overlay. Depending on the TV service you have this may or may not be worth it to you. For me, the UI is so much better than Charter it was a no brainer. I make up the cost with the fact I am not leasing equipment from Charter any more.
