I had a very dirty rug to clean and it did the job quite nicely. Cleaning fluid was somewhat expensive but effective.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this come with the powered hand tool?

It has a hand tool cleaner but it connects to the machine and is not separately powered.

Does it have surround Suction & how dry doe's it leave the carpet

Don't know what surround suction is but it leaves the carpet wet but it dries fairly quickly if you use very hot water.

is this a carpet steamer

steam carpet cleaned or just washes
You put hot water in the machine, it does not steam.
