Our last LG only lasted about 5 months before dieing, but LG honored a full refund provided we purchase another LG, so we are keeping our fingers crossed on this one. So far, after 9 months, it is still working great. It is a little noisier than our last LG (1.4 cu ft model), but seems to put out plenty of power and we don't miss the 0.3 cu ft of volume.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the microwave have "feet"? If so, how shallow a shelf can the microwave be placed upon?

Yes. 11.5" for sure is enough. 11.25" would be tight, but okay.

Is it supposed to be this noisy?

Just received & plugged in my new microwave. I like most of it, now that I see it. BUT, is it supposed to be this noisy when running? Has a *very pronounced vibration sound, way worse than the 12 year old Sharp it's replacing. Tried holding down the metal top and side, no difference. Have I got a lemon?
Yes. I placed some soft rubber scraps beneath the feet and that helps reduce the vibration noise a little.

Does this model have a "add thirty seconds" feature?

Yes. I use it to add time to cook for 1:30 for a cup of hot tea.

Clock Display

When the display turns off to save energy, after 5 minutes without any activity, does the clock display remain on?
My display always shows the time, nice and bright, too.
