not using it for gaming, just to get a lot of stuff on one monitor instead of two or three. works great for that, but wow is the text small. probably helps to be nearsighted. The AOC screen splitting software allows multiple options, eg, two side by side, 4 quadrants, and more. One feature i do not like about the software, however, is a screen segment is automatically filled when you put a browser window in it. For example, if i have the software set up for two side by side segments and have a browser window open in the middle of the screen and try to widen it, it will automatically fill one of the two segments--not what i intended.

after about of month of use, this unit is working great in our basement. area was humid after heavy rains and the old dehum died. The 70 pint unit quickly reduced humidity from 60 to 50 in one day. i like the ability to change fan settings, medium is noticeably quieter than high. Before writing this review i had to reduce the humidity setting to be sure it was still working. The hose drain connection is great, was a factor in choosing. The different air in/out positions from typical units may be a factor for other people but not a problem for me.

My outside speakers are connected to an old inside receiver. Before i installed the chromecast audio, i was connecting my music player to the receiver with a short cable. i would start a playlist and go outside with no further adjustments than outside volume controls-no ability to select a different tune without going back inside. This is a hassle when you are wet from swimming. With the Chromecast audio device, i can use my music player (phone, tablet, laptop) outside for ultimate control without having to go back inside.
i did check before buying to make sure i had a wifi signal where i expected to use it. Set up was less than a minute. Every once in a while my player's software (eg, spotify) doesn't recognize my device, but it does work after a few tries.
Just what i was looking for and much cheaper than a new receiver.

This is easier than using the usb cord that came with my phone. which would connect only using the cord that came with the phone, not any mini usb cord. It was a pain to reach behind the desk to unplug it. this is easy. just check to be sure your device is usb go capable.

great little music player to clip on while one is doing .......something. the radio tuner is a plus. easy to use, which is good because my wife is not a techno-wizard. if you dont want to mess with windows media player to create a playlist, simply combine the music you want to hear into a folder, then select the folder to play. I did that for Christmas music and was very easy since i dont use WMP.

you can download the music to your computer, then transfer it to the player.
