What's great about it: easy to use, robust features, easy to hide
What's not so great: when using usb power supply unit is on until your tv is off
this is a surprising good little unit. it was low cost and has some great features including an iPhone app to make your iPhone or ipad a remote. this unit is easy to use and is out of site if your TV has USB ports on the back of the TV. if your USB ports are on the side of your tv you will see the external power supply wire. the unit works great and Ive experienced no problems at all.

What's not so great: larger storage size can get expensive
ScanDisk is a brand known for its reliability and this product is no different. There are many different brands to choose from when considering memory cards but ScanDisk is one of my favorites. I use this card in my Garmin GPS unit and it has not failed. It has been exposed to extreme cold weather, heat, and even slight water but has never failed.

dvi from laptop to tv with hdmi
can I connect the dvi to laptop and plug hdmi cable into adapter and run hdmi cable to tv and use my tv as monitor
yes you can, however keep in mind your computer outputs the digital signal in diffrent aspect ratios so you may have to adjust the settings in your video graphics

I am trying to set up a blue ray player on my TV that doesn't have a HDMI option, but does have a DVI input.
My blue ray player only has HDMI option, I see you have a HDMI convert to DVI. Which would I need? The HDMI to DVI or the DVI to HDMI?
you can use the DVI cable or you can get a DVI to HDMI adapter. both will put out a digital signal.

How do I get audio to work with Apple TV?
this unit does not support the EDID of apple TV from what ive experenced. there is a unit you can buy to resolve this issue, its by Dr. HDMI called a EDID Emulator/Corrector. you would place it between the TV and the selector.

How can I get BBC News on the BD-F5700/ZA. The Samsung site says any Smart Player should be able to.
you can do this is by changing your AP region settings. you will have to change it from united states.
