Came free with online purchase. I wouldn't buy one - not quite laid out the way I'd prefer. Kinda cheap, but that's to be expected since they are giving them away.

It takes good photos and good videos in low light. However, the zoom lens is so limited in range that it was not that useful to me without the purchase of another lens. So, I had to return it. I will eventually get the T5i with the 18-135 mm lens instead, which will meet my needs much better.

Is this camera similar to the Canon t4i? What are the differences?

It is smaller and lighter than the T4i, but the T4i has an articulating screen which would be extremely handy in many circumstances - especially shooting video.
