Would this fit in my HD bay on my 2008 intel imac?

Just wanted to know for sure if this would fit. My previous HD dimensions were 3.5 x 1 . This product is 4 x .5 .
I think it most likely would, I fitted one inside a late 2006 model two weeks ago and it works nicely
