Added the center speaker to the sub and largest towers. Definitely made for an entirely different sound - huge impact for movies for the better, but did not improve sound quality on music.

Awesome machine. Loved the power output, huge array of features and settings, USB plug and play, and how user friendly it was.
However, not designed well internally. Receiver went into protection mode anytime the volume was turned above a certain level (with or without any speakers connected to it.) I spent several hours over several days trying to troubleshoot with the Denon team who ultimately told me to go exchange it - which I did...for an Onkyo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My subwoofer only has a R and L plug in, where do I plug the purple cord into?
Whichever input is also marked LFE.
