Bought this as a Christmas present. It works well and is definitely loud enough. Sits on an acrylic stand. It looks awesome. I like it and my son loves it. He's a big star wars fan.

I bought this to replace one I had that broke. I love it, charges quickly. The only thing i wish it had was a longer cord. Its a little too short.

I selected this charger because I liked the polka dot design. There were several to choose from. I was traveling and needed a back up for my plug in charger. I wasn't too sure about the quality of the product. But once I used it, it was great. It served it's purpose. It has three blue lights that blink to show you how much of a charge u have left. Worked for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it really weigh 3 1/2 pounds?! That seems way too heavy for a purse!? Weight 3.5 pounds

I don't think so. It's the size of a lip gloss. It maybe feels as heavy as a roll of pennies. Nothing excessive. It's fine for me. I throw it in my purse. I have heavier things in there so it's not a problem.

How do you recharge it?

Flip the cord around and plug it into a USB wall charger. The small end plugs into the portable charger. That's how I did it. It will begin to blink and stop blinking once it's charged.
