WIFI SIGNAL BOOST

I have a new Kindle Fire HD. It works fine if I am in the room with the router. I my home a few feet can make a great deal of difference. My signal strength drops to zero n the other end of my house.
Question: What is a reasonable solution?
Get a wireless extender for your home. They are really easy to set up and you can place one at the other end of your home and get great wifi thought out the whole house.
