What's great about it: nice size. not too big or too small plus light weight makes for easy travel

What's not so great: can not use in lap with a key board (like a traditional lap top) as kickstand on on hard surface

Excellent for travel. Easy to use tablet with kickstand for hands free with key board. Reverse camera good feature to take pics, as some tablets only have front facing.

Can you tell me how long this TV has been out?. It looks like an older model.

Best Answer

It is an older model 5000 series. Samsung is now selling 9000 series LED HD ultra. We bought this TV at Best Buy on sale before Thanksgiving for a bedroom and it is perfect for that purpose. Not as thin as newer models but still doesn't stick out from wall or take up too much room depth-wise. Could be mounted on wall without problem. Great picture for a 60HZ TV

Is it edge lit or back lit?

How do I tell if a tv is back lit or not and why don't they specify? Led tvs can be edge lit or back lit right?

This TV is neither back or edge lit. The remote has back lighting which is helpful in a dark room.
