It's a really neat concept. I've tried other headphones in the past that help you feel the bass. These guys have it figured out. They are comfortable and sound nice. I don't listen to hip hop or music that would probably be most enjoyed with these. However, it adds to any music genre. Try them out in the store, if they have a display. That's what sold me.

can I use it with an ipod?
Yes. There is a button to trigger Siri as well, if your iPod has that function. It will work well with any iPod.

Can you hook up a mic?
I was wondering if you could use it with an Xbox controller.
It has a standard 3.5mm plug that carries both the headphone and microphone signals.

Do best buy mobile stock ipod touch?
I'm travelling to New York next week and hoping to get an iPod touch while there. The nearest Best Buy to my hotel is a Best Buy Mobile so I'm just wondering do they stock iPod Touch?
They are available in Best Buy vending machines in many airports in the US.

There are a couple simple options to accomplish this. You can convince your friends to purchase an ipod, iPhone, or iPad... or you can take the easier route and find new friends that own iproducts. Personally, I think it would be fun to walk up to a total stranger and ask them if you can face time them to test it out.

how is this for downloading and reading books
I am looking more for a reader but for just a small $amount more get camera, etc Just wondering if it will serve just as well just for reading
It will work as a reader just like any tablet would. If you read a lot, you would like the dedicated kindle readers better. They are less tiring for your eyes. I use mine for study so I prefer the full tablet where I can highlight and take notes easier.
