What's great about it: Easy set up
What's not so great: Nothing
I think the bridge is necessary for my wireless router to work with the speaker. In my opinion that is the main function it serves. It does the job and was easy to set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great speaker sound, Easy set up and lots of radio choices on controller
What's not so great: Pricey and am having trouble accessing an old itunes music folder
I bought this because it is a high-quality wireless speaker and it meets that criteria. Although the controller was easy to download and is easy to use, I am having trouble accessing my main music library. I intend to contact Sonos to see if they have a solution to this issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
