I bought this for my GoPro Hero 4 and it seems to work well so far. No speed or file transfer issues that I can tell. My PC read it right away and data transferred back and forth without a problem. I did not time the transfer speeds for comparison to claimed speeds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What can I say, it's an XB1 controller. Works just like the one that came with the console. You need a second controller anyways to play local multiplayer, so why not get one that's a little more stylish. No complaints so far.

could I use this for a gopro camera

Yes, I use it in my Hero 4 without any issues. I had the GoPro set at highest resolution and it did not stutter.
