What's great about it: Works great
I bought this Blu Ray player to upgrade the DVD in my kids tv / play room. They love it and it's easy for them to use.... Intuitive menu and easy to set up.

I bought this to connect my sound bar to my tv. Other optical cables were too long and this one made the short connection between the sound bar and TV with very little left over to hide in the wall for a seamless installation.

What's not so great: Nothing!
I bought this to avoid having to pull additional HDMI cables through my wall to connect additional devices to my TV. I have one cable in the wall and I can use the Rocketfish to toggle between various input devices; cable tv, Blu Ray, video camera, and X-box 360.
The remote control lets me select devices 1-4 and I don't have to fumble with "source selection" on my tv. Also my tv only had 2 HDMI inputs so that wouldn't work with all of the device I have connected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: The sound, the battery life, it connects with ease!
This is the third set that I have purchased ( I lost one and gave one set as a gift.)
I love the sound; deep rich bass, and high tones when listening to music.
I am on my phone all day and the battery out lasts my phone battery without a charge from early morning to late evening even with me listening to music between calls.
They connect with my Android device without a problem! Highly recommend them.

TV with only 1 HDMI port

I have TV that has 3 HDMI port but only 1 is available because there is only 1 HDMI cable is hidden behind the wall and I want to use this wall system.

I want to connect my TV to 3 devices - cable, xbox and apple TV. Is this HDMI switch the one I need?
That was my exact problem and the Rocketfish solved it easily.... It definitely beat the cost of fishing additional cables through the wall and above the fireplace...drywall repair and painting!

Manual switching

To keep things simple for others in my household, I keep the unit on continuously. But every time I turn off the TV for extended periods and turn it back on, I have to turn off and turn back on the HDMI selector. Is there a way that I can avoid this?
I plugged it into the switched outlet on my cable box. So when I turn the cable box on / off so goes the Rocketfish.

Is there a specific hdmi cable to purchase or recomended one to use with my rocketfish 4 port splitter? There are so many and vary greately in price.

I used the Dynex 6' HDMI cable and it worked just fine and was a great value too.

Use with android smartphone and ipod touch

Is it possible to use this with the phone being a phone and the ipod being an ipod at the same time? So listening to the ipod, but being able to pause it to answer a call, then resuming play after ending the call
Yes, I listen to music on my Android / Galaxy S4 phone between calls and when a call comes in, the LG headset automatically pauses my music and resumes when the call is done.

One other cool function is if I am in navigation mode and listening to music, it "simulcasts" the directions and music in a reduced volume so I can hear both in a mellow tone.
