The suction cup plastic hardened due to UV and it not longer will stick to the windsheild. Is there a replacement process for it?
Bought a RF-VMU5 about 18 months ago, and it worked great while I was up in Illinios. After I moved back to Texas it was in bright sunlight and eventually would not longer stick to the windshield. What I found is the clear plastic cup hardened from UV exposure, and rather than purchase a new unit I'd like to know if there is a possibility of replacing the cup portion.
I haven't heard of a replacement have you tried to clean it with glass cleaner this might recondition the rubber so it can stick.
