I do a lot of printing in booklet/pamphlet style and the automatic duplex feature in this printer is spot on. I'm used to my old printer and manual duplex. Imagine my surprise when the printer did it all with the click of the mouse. b/w & color print resolution is great as well.

I had no need of the vault software either, so I just formatted the drive to remove it. The device will still function properly without it. The only thing you need to check is what format your dvr will recognize (NTFS, FAT, etc...) and you can use your computer to format it.

Internet connection
My printer is connected to the internet by mobile hot spot and or wi fi so it doesn't have a constant connection. Does HP count every page you print every time you use it or will the printer keep track and send the info when I connect. No one I have talked to knows if instant ink will work in my application
Your printer should update its stats everytime you connect it to the internet

What if you want to end the program.
How do you cancel the automatic payments and stop receiving ink.
You can change or cancel your plan at any time via the hp connected website.

Monitor usage
How do I monitor how many pages I've used each month? Is their a counter on the printer?
You can track your usage from the Hp Connected software that comes with the printer. You can even determine ahead of time if you need to up your plan before you hit your monthly limit.

Didn't sign up when I bought the printer.
Can you sign up for this program after you have had the printer for a month? I am just now finding out about the program and wasn't told about it when I bought the printer.
Yes, you can sign up at any time. Either at Bestbuy, or at hp.com.
