This is a huge TV. I didn't realize how big a 70" TV could be until I took it out of it's box. Love it! I'm not sure about the 4K capabilities. I'm not really seeing that much of a difference visually. It was very easy to set up. Using your smart phone as the more detailed remote doesn't bother me. The Chromecast worked perfectly. I'm having some issues using my iPad Air tablet for casting. But I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone so I'm not that concerned. I also have a Roku 3 that I'm thinking of connecting to it also. Since Netflix is now available on Xfinity that's not a issue either for access. I connected my Vizio soundbar for audio. For the price under $1,000, I don't think you can go wrong purchasing this TV.

Easy set up, but access to a greater selection of menu set ups in the remote would go along way to making this a perfect soundbar. The ability to really fine tune the sound from the bar is limited to just the remote's menus. Other than bass, treble and surround sound - that's all you get. And those are just simple up or down functions. I would have preferred some preset functions, like movie, concert, etc. I am also having trouble using my Xfinity X1 remote to power the soundbar off and on. Seems there is no code for Vizio soundbars. But ultimately the sound is what matters and it is an improvement over my previous soundbar - which had all the items I missing with this soundbar. Overall ... I would still recommend you buy it.

has anyone had issues with remote not working the soundbar?

I had to exchange sound bar twice. 1st one the sound would go up on its own (randomly) 2nd one after about a month the remote stopped working took the remote back and it worked in the store model but not on mine. 3rd one is now doing the same with remote. I read to unplug for 10 sec. and plug back it. This does work but, i find this not user friendly. I love the system but, don't want to be stuck with something that isn't going to work
I also have had issues with the remote turning on the soundbar. But it turned out to just not be in the correct mode. The mode for how you have connected the soundbar to your components seems to change and not stay on whatever the last set up was pressed. Try toggling thru the mode button until you hit on the correct set up.
