First impression was wow this phone is big! I was going from a Droid Bionic and the Note 3 dwarfs it. I have to say that it only took a couple hours to fall in love with the Note.
The battery life with this phone is excellent for the power user like myself. I use my phone all day long for texts, talking and surfing the Web. I have yet to need to charge the phone during the day. I don't play games on it so I can't vouch for that.
The Samsung branded version of Android is the best I have ever used. It has all the features that any professional would want in their phone.
I would strongly recommend this phone to anyone. Love it!

Why is text messaging not listed as an option on the note 3?

The Note 3 most definitely has text messaging! Don't know why it's not listed.

Call quality on the Note 3

I have read some reviews saying that during a phole call on the Note 3 there is a lot of noise and static or interference. Is this true or has the issue been fixed. Also I keep seeing where this phone also drops a lot of calls, is this true?
I live in central US and cell service can be sketchy, but I have yet to have a call where I experienced any static, noise or interference. I have excellent call quality with mine. I have no problem hearing when in a crowd or noisy environment. I have also noticed that outside in the wind that I didn't hear it on the phone and the person I was talking to didn't know I was outside.

I have had couple dropped calls. I am completely sure that it was my location and lack of strong cell signal(3G 1 bar). I have experienced no dropped calls when in areas with good signal. With saying this, I also want to say that this phone gets better cell reception than other phones I have tried.
