Roku - 3 Streaming Player - Black
Roku 3: Access more than 1,500 channels in up to 1080p and view videos from Netflix and YouTube directly on your TV. Fast, powerful and loaded with features, the motion-sensing remote lets you play games or plug in headphones to watch late-night flicks without waking up the household.

Best streaming player for the price

After reviewing apple's and amazon's players i decided on roku. 3 because of all the channels it offers. Very easy to set up plus the plug in headphones on the remote is great
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is there a subscription fee to watch the "1,500 entertainment channels" advertised in the Product Features section?

.....and what are some of those "entertainment channels?" CBS, NBC, etc; or something else?
Yes you have to pay to have accounts on netflix or hulu Plus etc.. This isnt a replacement for cable you're not going to get network programming with it. Go to roku website for more info
