If you're not particularly tied to apple or android, a Windows Phone (WP) is a great budget-friendly device. This phone has a great screen size, great speaker for music, and barely the right amount of apps to get me by. Emphasis on barely because their app store had the two messaging apps I use to communicate to various teams. Having no google apps took some getting used to (since I've had a android device before), but the web browser will still suffice in most cases. Great, budget-friendly phone overall.

I've been using this mouse for a while now and I like the customization it offers. There are plenty of buttons to alter for games like csgo that should make playing more efficient. Because it's wireless there are no cords that will get caught on your desk while moving the mouse around. The battery life lets you game for hours and the endurance mode makes this thing last even longer for regular use. Because it is wireless you have to be careful about where you place the usb receiver. Place it too far and you might experience some choppiness while you play. There is an included usb extension cord to help place the receiver as close to the mouse as possible. While battery life is long, it will eventually run out so you may take that into consideration, especially if you're thinking about cost long-term. Overall, I am pretty happy with how this mouse has performed so far.

What's great about it: Great performance for the price
What's not so great: 1gb RAM, no expandable memory, no SIM slot
Amazing picture quality, sound, and features while running stock android. The screen hiccups every now and then, but it's a minor problem. While There's no expandable memory, but it's not necessary. If you were looking for that you should find another phone. For the price, it's a great introduction to the smartphone world.

What's great about it: Simple to set up and use
What's not so great: "Time's out" every now and then.
I love everything about the Chromecast, from its simple set up to its ease of streaming content. However, when I don't use it for several days, it loses recognition of my devices as the Chromecast button disappears from the apps. The only way to fix this (that I know of) is to reset the router by unplugging/plugging it. If there were a way around this I would give it 5 stars.

Is this compatible with a 2014 Mac laptop?
I don't see why not. Works with my 2011 macbook air right out the box.

Does this keyboard have a CAPS LOCK indicator, either lighted or otherwise? It's a necessary feature for high production.
Yes. It's located on the top right near the on/off switch and turns green when caps is on. However, there's no number lock light anywhere on the keyboard.
