Is the flame realistic looking?
Yes, it does look real, in fact we have two French Bulldogs and they love to lay in front of our gas fireplace, and when we set this up they laid right in front of it without skipping a beat, we might invest in a little air defector to blow the warm air down on them.

Will this monitor display multi-able sources at once; ie; 2 HDMI connections = 2 onscreen views?
yes, I use the split screen to view video of football officials mechanics and on the other screen have my observation spread sheet to record my information for the clips i review.

Is This compatible with Comcast.
No, the unit is to be used by the likes of Qwest, and it is a DSL Modem and wireless router all in one. You need a Cable Modem, and I would suggest the Motorola Surf Cable modem and a Linksys or Netgear wireless router. You can also purchase a Cable Gateway which is a combination of a cable modem and wireless router, they can be a little pricey. I also have Comcast and use the the Arris Cable Modem and the Nighthawk 3200AC router, both are on the high end of equipment.
