This hold my iPhone perfectly. It works with whatever case you have on your phone because the "arms" that your phone rest in are able to be expanded.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this mount fit the android phones, Galaxy 5 and Galaxy Edge 7 ?

It should! It fits the iPhone 7. The arms are stretchable, so it should work with any phone.
