This phone works great and we love the way it identifies who is calling by telling you outloud before you answer!

I was wondering what speakers, and cords will I need to purchase in order to hear sound coming from my computer? The HP Desktop AMD A6 series? I was under the assumption that when I purchased this computer, that it would already have built in speakers

Any pair of speakers as long as they are made to use with a computer and has a compatable plug to plug into the computer will work. Usually the higher priced speakers work better than the real cheap ones.

Intercom

States it has intercom - but after receiving phones - it does not!
You better check it again because it does have an intercom and I used it.

Do the handsets have a 2.5mm headset port on them?

I like to sometimes take my calls off speakerphone and use the headset to make the call more private but still be able to type.

DSL filters

Do you only need one filter for the main base or do you have to have one for each of the additional bases?
Just one filter. The other bases are cordless and not plugged in to the phone line.

Handset base

I notice now that most of these phones with the extra handsets have really flimsy and cheap bases for the extra handsets....how are the ones for this phone? Do they flip over as most of the others do easily? Looking for sturdy bases that won't flip over ....thanks!
This base is pretty sturdy.
