What's great about it: Best general purpose PC I have right now
What's not so great: Too locked into having MS account
Personally, I like less automated work environments so I can make my computer do what I do, But as new technology goes, this PC is high on my liked list. After very little trial and error, I had it doing my bidding. Still have not used it as access to cloud account or social networking ID, both of which are not priority for me.
This product is... Good sound quality, Big screen size, easy to set up
About me... Budget Conscious, Technology guru, Regularly process large video or graphics files, Comfortable with technology, pc apple android + linux user

windows 8.1

someone told me that if the laptop comes with windows 8 or 8.1 you're better off with a touch screen.Is this true ?? Is windows 8.1 made for touch screens.
I don't find I need to have a touch screen. If instructions describe what to tap on screen, there are usually instructions for using a mouse. Once touch screen instructions were only listed, and it turned out right clicking with the mouse gave me the same results.
