What's great about it: Easy to start using, quick, and easily replaces laptop
What's not so great: screen does not automatically dim like Samsung phones
This latest release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab family has a few improvements from the older versions. Probably the best is switching to the micro-USB port for charging. Two drawbacks from the older versions include that the screen does not automatically dim based on lighting, and the GPS or location setting has to be on for many features. The older tablet would functions with many of the features with the GPS turned off.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Variety of apps available, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size

Does Samsung make a tablet that charge last longer than 4 hrs without recharging?
Yes, I have the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, previously had the Tab 2 and my wife has the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. All of these have lasted that long. However, it depends on what you are doing. If you watch a movie that has sound through the entire thing it may not last as long as someone who is simply reading a book from the Kindle app.
